OUR FEMINISM MOVEMENT
A nomadic feminist seeking to envision a new alternative feminist world led by the realities and narratives of women and girls at the local level.
No longer can we be spoken for or over, but instead, we must voice our insights knowledge of the world and re-centre ourselves to take charge of the feminist agenda. So here, I will write of the alternative perspectives to the changing dynamics and social issues of the world and give personal intersectional insight on transitional justice peace-building. I will explore the complexity of our identity and reclaim feminism, peace and security from a grassroots approach.
Do I really want to be integrated into a burning house?- James Baldwin
Or do I want to create my own house? My own space, identity and story?
Do I falsely entertain the idea of fitting into spaces, narratives, beliefs or institutions which were not designed to empower me?

Or do I want to cultivate and envision an alternative world for myself and the next generation of black and brown folks?
